Diane Chandler Revive Therapies

Diane Chandler TIDHA BFRP MFHT

I have been a complementary therapist for over 25 years and have a wealth of experience to offer.

What makes a good complementary therapist?

I strongly believe that good communication skills and a personable, caring approach are integral to my skill as a therapist. The ability to listen, understand, empathise and show compassion regarding the health and wellbeing of each client is essential, as well as retaining integrity, respect and a professional attitude. I strive to uphold these values in my practice.

Having started out in the medical profession, I felt a strong desire to retrain and qualified as a holistic aromatherapist in 1993. It was a life-changing decision and paved the way for further qualifications in complementary therapies. I also worked as a Maternity Assistant in the NHS, which led to training in aromatherapy and reflexology for pregnancy and childbirth.

I continue to draw on my medical background and have successfully integrated my knowledge into my complementary practices. It gives me a unique ability to bridge the medical and holistic worlds, which results in the very best treatment for clients. I treat a wide age range, from babies and teenagers to the elderly. Client conditions range from headaches to rheumatoid arthritis, heart and circulatory disorders, ME and cancer to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression and pain caused by posture, repetitive strain and degenerative changes. My clients come from many backgrounds – from students, builders, teachers, business professionals and musicians to the retired and elderly.

As well as my own practice in Loxwood, I also provide treatments at Castle Street Clinic  in Guildford, Surrey. I’ve worked at the clinic since 1994 when it opened and greatly value working within a team of dedicated and like-minded therapists. Clients living in or near Guildford can book to see me at Castle Street Clinic if it’s more convenient. I have also joined the team at Meadows Wellbeing in Billingshurst.

I am a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, am fully insured and am trained in First Aid.

In my spare time, I love walking with my two dogs, cycling, swimming and spending time with my family, whilst also being creative and striving to maintain balance in all areas of my life. Having grown up with practises of yoga, meditation and wholefoods, these are still a cornerstone of my life.
